14. Ovarian Mass in a Patient with Li Fraumeni Syndrome: A Case Report

Li Fraumeni syndrome is a hereditary cancer pre-disposition syndrome associated with a germ-line mutation in the tumor suppressor gene TP53. Associated malignancies include adrenocortical carcinoma, osteosarcomas, soft tissue sarcomas, brain tumors and pre-menopausal breast cancer. The diagnosis of hereditary cancer pre-disposition syndromes is increasing but limited evidence dictates surveillance. Whole-body MRI has been proposed as a screening strategy. We present a case of a new adnexal mass on surveillance MRI in a patient with Li Fraumeni syndrome.
