Vulvar Aphthous Ulcer and COVID-19 mRNA Vaccination

      We would like to share ideas on “Vulvar Aphthous Ulcer Following Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine - A Case Report.

      Drucker et al concluded the following: “Summary and conclusion- Vaccination, in general, has been associated with….caused by a similar mechanism and should be considered a rare side effect of this vaccine.”

      Vulvar aphthous ulcer following Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine - a case report.
      A mucocutaneous effect of COVID-19 vaccination is possible. The pathogenesis is still inconclusive. For post-CPVOD-19 vaccination vulvar aphthous ulcer, further investigation and monitoring of clinical symptoms is necessary. The genital ulcer might be the first presentation of Behcet's disease, which is a rare problem observed following COVID-19 vaccination.

      For a possible pathogenesis, COVID-19 vaccination can induce a hyperviscosity problem,
